Apujeong. Praise the Lord for another powerful Fire By Night!  The walk from the subway to the exit where our church met, there must have been at least 10 different ads promoting plastic surgery.  Throughout the walk, we probably saw over 50 plastic surgery clinics.  We saw several people walking around or eating dinner with patches on their faces because of their recent cosmetic procedures.  There is a strong correlation with this area's high superficial values and the presence of two women's clinics who have been known to abort babies. It's all connected. Every year, thousands of babies are aborted in Korea, although abortions are technically illegal. God definitely moved us to passionate prayers and he will use these prayers to save the lives of many of the unborn!

Holt Children's Services @ HapJeong.  October's Fire By Night was on Friday, October 21st near the Holt Children’s Services facilities. We prayed for the orphans that were waiting to be adopted at Holt, the beautiful pregnant ladies who were waiting to deliver, and for all those that work at Holt for much strength as they endeavor to do God's work.  What a blessing night!

Shinchon. Prayed for the educational institutions, especially former Christian universities to honor Christ again and make disciples for the nations, asking the Lord to rebuild the ancient walls of righteousness, integrity and honor once again. We also prayed light and liberty in some heavy areas of sex trafficking, bringing light into darkness. A powerful night of prayer!

Praying for students of Yonsei University

Itaewon. Praying for ultimate blessings and breakthroughs for this international community.  In light of Ramadan, we prayed for the gospel to spread in the world of Islam and specifically for the many Muslims living in and near Itaewon.  May the grace and love of Jesus be known!

Kangnam. Praying down strongholds and planting seeds that will set the captives free!  Kangnam is notorious for its loan sharks that deceive and trap the women into the sex trafficking industry.  

Seobinggo and the Onnuri Vision Land!!!

Had a powerful time praying at our Infant Orphanage near Hongik University (Eastern Social Welfare Society). Prayed for the families, marriages, children, orphans and the unborn of Korea. Supported their new cafe plus interceded for key changes in the adoption process which will allow more people to adopt. May God's Church rise up and transform the adoption culture of this nation! 

Fire By Night 2011 04. Apgujung: Praying for healing in this land as we prayer walk around the TONS of plastic surgery centers. May God heal this nation's obsession with image and break the spirit of greed.

And in light of North Korea Freedom Week, interceded for the freedom and transformation of North Korea ... one day soon it will happen! 

Yeungdunpo. Expressions of Grace: gave flowers and chocolate to the workers in one of the largest (and oldest) red light districts in Seoul. Prayed for a transformation in this area. 

Update 2011 04: (From Cassandra) just a quick update about yeoungdeungpo. The RLD is still there and going on, but there has definitely been a shift! Praise God. Since our prayer walks in the last few months and the fire by night, there has been a significant increase in police presence around and in the RLD and there have been nights where no girls were out at 11-12pm. interesting. Let's keep contending!! Breakthrough is ours!

Kwanghwamu and Blue House. Our first Fire By Night, bringing the Church into the streets. We began by interceding for this nations leadership and for the reunification of this nation.
