About Membership: At OEM, we believe it is important to commit to serving each other as members in the Body of Christ, as Scripture teaches:
“Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” Romans 12:4-5
Therefore, if you would like to become a member OR get baptized at OEM, join our Membership course, which is offered every other month! It’s friendly and welcoming, and lasts two or three sessions, looking at the following topics:
• Statements of Faith
• What it means to be a Christian
• Vision and Mission of OEM
• History of OEM
• Member Lifestyle
• Benefits of Membership
• Baptism
• Ministries
And of course, we have a time of fellowship each time too!
Membership is a prerequisite of doing One-to-One Discipleship and BEE at OEM. All ministry members and leaders are also expected to be members of OEM if they intend to serve a year or longer.
