Mark your calendars for OEM's annual Thanksgiving Banquet! This year's Thanksgiving Banquet will be on Sunday, Nov. 19 at Dragon Hill Lodge on the Yongsan U.S. Army Base. The U.S. Army Base requires security clearance so we need people to register early. Please make note of the registration deadlines below - especially citizens of some restricted countries.

​On Friday the 8th, we will meet in the OEM Office for prayer and on the 22nd go to Global Christian Foreign School at Hannam to pray.

Save the date for the OEM Picnic which will be held in the Ssang Yong Park in front of the SBG Campus on Saturday, September 9 at 1:00pm-4:00pm. Every family member and friend of OEM is welcome to join us for time of fellowship. Cost is 5,000 won per person. Please RSVP to help us with the food preparation.

Emails were sent out to everyone who registered on Wednesday, so please check your email! In case you did not receive the email for any reason, here is some important information for everyone!

We have been praying and preparing that our hearts will grow in surrender and spiritual worship through this retreat. We hope you come with expectant hearts.

For those who are taking bus, there will be two departure time as you have signed up, 7PM and 10PM, at Seobinggo Station, Exit 1. Please arrive by 6:50 PM or 9:50PM, 10 minutes prior to the departure time at the latest.

For those who are coming straight to the retreat by car, there will be an information desk ready in the main building. Public transportation is available from Nambu Express Terminal to Yangji Jungryuso (양지 정류소) by bus, but the operation time is limited.

Buses will be leaving from Acts 29 Vision Village at 11:30AM and will be returning to the Seobinggo Station.  For those who did not sign up for the bus yet, you must sign up at the retreat if you plan on taking that bus because space is limited.

Pastor John Piper is coming to Korea!

He will be speaking at a series of events in Seoul starting Friday. Some require registration and fee so please check the link and the schedule.

The main event is the Desiring God Conference on May 29-31 (Mon-Wed) at Onnuri Church's Yangjae Campus. This event is focused on equipping pastors, seminarians, and church leaders - but all are welcoming! There is a 10,000 won fee for this 2-and-a-half-day event.

The evening sessions (7:30PM, Mon-Wed) are open to the public at no cost.

Pastor John Piper will speaking in the morning (10:00AM) and evening sessions (7:30AM) on Monday and Tuesday.

On Wednesday, Pastor John Piper will be speaking at Busan for the final part of the Conference, but it will be simulcast to the Yangjae Onnuri Campus at 7:30PM.

New Friday Night Prayer Format for 2017: From February, Friday Night Prayer will be twice a month - on the 2nd and 4th Fridays. 

• 2nd Fridays: Meet for prayer at SBG Campus, Zion Hall (Missions Building B2), 7:30PM
• 4th Fridays: Meet at various places in Seoul to prayer walk for specific issues in the city and country

God is stirring OEM to take our prayers beyond the walls of this church building. Join us as we put feet to our prayers, especially as we lift up our nation and the president.

​Meet us on Friday, Feb. 24, 7:30PM at Anguk Station (Line 3), we will meet outside of exit 2 and prayer walk around the Constitutional Court.

The format of our Friday Night Prayer will be changing as we plan on focusing on different ministries, events, and areas of Seoul. In the meantime, we will be taking a break for the next few weeks.
Please stay tuned as we make preparations and share with thecongregation when we will be resuming our meetings again.

OEM will not be having our regular Friday Night Prayer tomorrow, so that we can all attend the New Year's Eve Services with the greater-Onnuri Church on Saturday night which will have English translation provided.
Please come worship with us as one as we end and begin the year seeking God as one greater body.

OEM will be hosting our annual Thanksgiving Banquet at Dragon Hill Lodge on Sunday, November 20. The cost will be 35,000 won per person. You may sign up in the back of the sanctuary at SBG and in the lobby at DG after service with cash, or you may register online and pay by bank transfer.

​Please make sure you follow directions extremely carefully when signing up, as this could affect whether or not you will be allowed on the US army base.

​The registration and payment deadline for most nationalities is the end of November 10 without exception.
Citizens of select countries must register and pay by October 31 (please check below).

You will be emailed detailed instructions for the night of the banquet about a week out.​

We have to ask for some private information like your National ID Number/ARC Number/Passport Number because every guest must go through security clearance prior to the event to get on the US Army Base. Your private information will be treated with utmost respect and deleted after the event.

You MUST bring your Korean National ID/Alien Registration Card/Passport you register with on the night of the banquet or you will not be able to get in. ​
