Rebekah
Leigh has just arrived in Yunnan province, China. As well as having a heart for
the Lord and making disciples, she has a heart for TCKs (Third Culture Kids)
and minority peoples. As an elementary school teacher she will start a one room
school teaching missionary children from various organisations. Their parents
are involved with different minority groups in such work as community
development, health and language development, literacy and translation work,
and BAM (Business As Missions). Rebekah's teaching will provide vital
educational support for the families where there is no other school for
international students. She is currently doing a year of full time Mandarin
language study before she begins teaching.
