A team of 12 from a vast array of backgrounds and nations came together in hopes to serve a
nation that was devastated by a series of natural disasters. However, due to concerns from the Onnuri leadership, our plans were caused to be re-routed. Three weeks out from our departure date, our destination was undecided, schedule unplanned with a team unprepared – we dove into the presence of God through worship and prayer in an attempt to trust in Him and take steps of faith. We got there Saturday night, the 16th of July. We used Sunday as a time to worship, and finish up practicing our skits that we were going to perform, and resting before the the big beginning. We also put together props and prayed for the week to go well. Monday we started the day at 6 or 7 in the morning, and went to get set up for our first day. We had a couple of minor disagreements about ideas. We prayed and practiced the skits again, then the kids came.

Thailand: August 1-12

The August 2011 trip to beautiful Thailand was one of declaring freedom in both the physical and spiritual realm. During our team training, while in Thailand, and in the days to come...we are contending that Thailand, also known as the "Land of the Free," would be free indeed in Jesus' name.
Our trip consisted of intercession and "hands-on" ministry through teaching, construction, and activities. Ministry times were spent with children who have been rescued from trafficking and children who are at-risk of trafficking. In addition, our ministry included men who have been set free and delivered from both physical and spiritual prison. We were utterly blown away to hear story after story of the Great Abolitionist at work! Read more... |
